History

1986, Mason standing with one of the first hydroform prototype frames that demonstrated the functional characteristics of hydroformed components. This was produced for a major OEM that utilized both steel and aluminium.

1991, Mason played a key role in the concept development and final production design of the hydroform subframe for the Ford Mondeo and Contour front subframe. The first high volume hydroform subframe using a novel "U" shaped hydroform tube concept. Production set-up in in Europe in Canada

1993 , The Opel Vectra Subframe. The second high volume subfram, also using the novel "U" shaped hydroform tube concept. Production was set-up in Europe.

2000, The Honda Civic front Subframe was the first production hydroform subframe for Honda. Production was set-up in Japan and Canada

2002, Honda Accord front subframe was the first production hydroform with "Zero End Scrap".
2005, Midway Schuler 5000 ton training production personnel.

2008, Operations Expertise Inc., a start-up Manufacturing Support Consulting Service, was founded.
2011, Hydroform Solutions Schuler 8500 ton press OEE began and ran until 2014.

2012, GM Alpha Subframe production launch low pressure cycle.
2013, O. E. Inc. hired by Caterpillar Inc. to design and evaluate the feasibility of hydroform for Caterpillar structure parts. First production part started production in 2014 using unique process characteristics to form very heavy (200 lbs) wall parts
2013, Martinea KY – Schuler 5000 ton production optimization
2014, Mahle - China Supplier Development / Hydroform
2014 - present, O. E. Inc. began work for Ford Motor Company to assist with the launch of the F-150 and received tier one supplier status. This relationship continues on today, with Murray supporting Ford in several large equipment installation. His involvement is from concept to installation including the supports such as facility modifications, logistics for the delivery of the machinery, working with local fire and hydro services.
